You have walked alongside our noble Nonprofit through seasons of change and growth, but perhaps no other year shines as brightly with milestones as 2023.

The coronation ceremony of His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda Giri celebrating his ascension as Head Pontiff of Sri Paramananda Ashram Trust Consortium (SriPAT) took place on 23rd February 2023 at the Sri Paramananda Maṭha campus in Prayagraj, India. This ceremony represented the transition of leadership following the untimely passage of revered monk and Head Pontiff His Holiness Swami Sharadananda Giri.

Functioning as the centerpiece of a two-month long pilgrimage in India, this coronation ceremony was attended by pilgrims representing 12 countries. In addition, the ceremony was graced by revered monks from monasteries near and far, Vedic priests, Sanskrit students, scholars, government officials, and community leaders.

Fellowships were held regularly in Santa Barbara, in addition to programs in Kolkata, London, Chicago, Houston, and Nevada City, all while our search for a property continued. Then in July the moment we had all been praying for arrived – a property surfaced and we moved ahead to complete the purchase on 21st August.

Hansadhāman Maṭha, located in Penn Valley, California is now the new headquarters of our sangha and we watch with anticipation as this property is developed to accommodate all the branches of our Nonprofit and its mission. The full transition to Northern California will take place by April 2024.

We launched Phase 1 of our Capital Initiative on 28th October 2023 and many of you have already contributed generously. We thank each of you who have participated to sow the seeds of peaceful abundance at our new property.

We eagerly await the day when you can join us for a personal retreat, Vedic ceremony, wellness workshop or fellowship at Hansadhāman Maṭha.

Together in service,

Minakshi Acharya
