These audio recordings contain exquisite chanting of the first six canto of Śrīmad-Vālmīkīya-Rāmāyaṇaṃ written and composed in poetic metre by the wondrous sage Sri Valmiki Rishi. This sublime recitation is rendered by expert chanters: Brahmasri V. Sri Rama Salaxana Ghanapathi and his disciple Brahmasri H. Sita Ramamurthy Ghanapathi.
A living treasure of the indigenous heritage, this sublime recitation of Sri-Valmiki-Ramayana encompasses 20,110 verses in 534 chapters – a total of nearly 60 hours of chanting. Only the final canto of about 4000 verses is not included in this recording.
