We invite you to join us online for the Guru Purnimā weekend discourses by our revered Himalayan monk and living saint, His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda. Guru Purnimā is the most auspicious time to be with a realized spiritual master (satguru) and blessings are said to be profound on this full moon occasion. This is a special opportunity to join two sessions of our Hansacharaņam Retreat from your own home.
His Holiness will speak in two class sessions about the force of karma (both stale and fresh), our momentum behind birth, latent impressions of actions (karmāśaya) causing rebirth, role of subtle desires (vāsanā) in creating a field of experiences, our right to results of actions if at all, how to remove afflictions, mindful service as in dharma, and burning the seeds of karma. He will elaborate on the true meaning of selfless action (niṣkāma-karma) and how devotional service can release the mind from karmic entrapment. In this context, he will touch upon on the dichotomy of action versus knowledge. He will also discuss how to make peace with oneself, and face life using a positive outlook rooted in a meditative lifestyle.

After the discourses stream live we will make them available for on-demand viewing. You will use the same link and password you receive to watch the live event for the on-demand recordings. Given that our team is traveling for Guru Purnima, the recordings may not be available until Friday, 3rd August for on-demand viewing.
