Join our Hansavedas community via livestream for a classical music concert with world-renowned violinist, Kumaresh Rajagopalan. The violin recital will be offered in the saintly presence of Himalayan monk, His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda, who will introduce the music conception and the musician. The concert will offer creative and original compositions of a maestro violinist on the subject of Nāda-Brahma-Yoga, which translates as deeply meditative sounds of the cosmos. This is a rare opportunity to join an intimate and private concert taking place in the divine ambiance of our Hansavedas Meditation Altar.

Kumaresh Rajagopalan is widely regarded in Indian classical music for his collaborative music projects with his elder brother, Ganesh Rajagopalan. The virtuoso duo has captivated worldwide audiences for over four decades with their remarkable technique and soul stirring creativity, steeped in classicism. Trained by their father, Shri T. S. Rajagopalan, a veteran violinist, Ganesh and Kumaresh gave their first stage performance when Kumaresh was just 5 years old. By the time he was 10, Kumaresh completed his hundredth stage appearance alongside his elder brother.

Kumaresh Rajagopalan is married to the world renowned vīnā (ancient stringed lute) maestro Jayanthi Kumaresh and together they have presented their artistry on two of India’s most ancient string instruments, creating a new level of music conception. Read more about Kumaresh and listen to a sample of his collaborative work with His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda here.
