Join us in Santa Barbara to honour the life and work of Paramahansa Yogananda on the occasion of his 125th birth anniversary. Sri Swami Yogananda’s stature as a great saint and a spiritual giant is well known to all aspirants on this path. His service to humanity through his teachings on meditation and kriyayoga will be commemorated during this deeply spiritual fellowship.
Be in the saintly presence of Himalayan monk, His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda, for this special evening and experience devotional singing of Yogananda-songs, group chanting, inspiring stories from Swami Yogananda Paramahansa’s life, uplifting words of wisdom, guided meditation and a blessing line to take personal darshan with Swami Vidyadhishananda. A light vegetarian snack will be served starting at 7:45pm.
The fellowship will begin at 5pm at Unity of Santa Barbara (227 East Arrellaga Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101). Unity has a large parking lot on the corner of Santa Barbara St. and Valerio St., with the entrance on Valerio. Those from the Los Angeles area or Bay Area may contact us to inquire about carpools to Santa Barbara. The fellowship will conclude by 9pm.
Entrance is free, but love donations are deeply appreciated.
Pre-registration is encouraged so we can plan for the snack, but guests are also welcome to register at the door.
